Criminal Statement by Dmitriy Medvedev

imagesCA3PFDN0Presidential candidate of the United National Movement Davit Bakradze says the statements of the Russian prime minister regarding the Georgia-Russia war in 2008 were `insulting` for him.

`It was very hard and insulting to hear what Medvedev said yesterday. From the screen we saw a person, who was saying that everything what Russia did in 2008 against Georgia was right and he would do the same today, it means that he would order toady to bomb Georgian cities, burn down Georgian villages and kill our boys – the heroes, who are in graves on Mukhatgverdi cemetery today. This person reiterated in this interview these words and says that he would kill Georgians again. I have no idea what the impression of the rest of Georgians was from this interview, but my impression was very grave and scaring. The only positive I heard from this interview is that he confirmed who we are dealing with,` Davit Bakradze said.

In 1992-1993 and in 2008, Russia organized an ethnic cleansing of Georgians in Abkhazia and South Ossetia. More than 400,000 Georgians were driven out of Abkhazia & South Ossetia and are not allowed to return to their homes until today.  (Medvedev: “Georgians are very close and dear nation for us“…)
